Professional Experience
Galyna Melnyk is a tax advisor and deputy director for the Ukrainian office of PETERKA & PARTNERS with more than 15 years of experience in tax law at leading Ukrainian law firms.
Galyna specializes in providing tax and legal advisory to different businesses at various stages of their activities in Ukraine: from initial advice related to setting up a legal presence in Ukraine to complex support of full-fledged commercial and production activity. She is experienced in providing legal assistance during tax audits and representing clients before courts in tax disputes. Galyna also focuses on currency control regulation and providing complex legal assistance for various transactions between residents and non-residents of Ukraine, such as loan financing and cross-border supply contracts.
Galyna was appointed a member of the Local Management Board in Kyiv in 2019; she co-manages the Ukrainian PETERKA & PARTNERS office as deputy director for Ukraine. Galyna has also been admitted to the bar since 2018.
In May 2022 Galyna became a board member of the UKRCHAM, the Ukrainian-Czech Chamber of Commerce, that was founded to be an important institutional mechanism in developing bilateral relations between Ukraine and Czech Republic.
