PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Olena Omelchenko has 20 years’ substantial experience related to trade protection, WTO rules, customs regulation and adaptation of Ukrainian laws to EU legislation. She advises companies on anti-dumping, safeguard and countervailing investigations in Ukraine and abroad.
Prior to working for Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm Olena was a member of the negotiations group on preparation of the EU-Ukraine Agreement, as well as free trade agreements between Ukraine and Canada, Turkey, Serbia and other states. She participated in numerous international trade negotiations. In 2015 Olena was an advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
